Work under the general supervision of a system administration professional in Austria
Knowledge transfer and delivery of the activities currently taking place in Austria Operational activities:
- Incident Management within the range UNIX,
- Support of the Storage systems (SAN & NAS),
- Support of the Backup-Systems (MBK),
- Administration of assigned Backup-Software (Legato Networker), Printers,
Filesystems , TCP/IP-addresses, Domain Nameservices and System Management-Systems,
- Patch-Management within the range UNIX
Advancement of the Troubleticket-System (Remedy).
- Technical University background
- English minimum intermediate-level
- German knowledge constitutes an asset
- One to three years of system administration experience with UNIX-Systems and/or Storage- and Backup-Systems
Good knowledge of Sun Solaris, HP UX, Linux (Red Hat, SuSe), Samba, X-Applications, System- and Networkmanagement-Tools (Nagios), Script programming (Unix Shell), Storage- and Backup-Technology and related Software-Products
- Additional knowledge within the range AIX, Clearcase, Cluster-Technology, Programming in C/ C++ and Perl, Databases (Oracle) would be an advantage
