The portfolio of services and solutions includes: business process optimization, planning and implementation of innovative business solutions, INTEGRATION of new IT processes into the existing system environment, infrastructure services including maintenance, user support, hotline operation and innovative maintenance models, operational services and application management, selective and full IT services.
Role – UNIX Administrator is responsible for:
• Incident Management within the range UNIX
• Support of the Storage systems (SAN & NAS)
• Support of the Backup-Systems (MBK)
• Administration of assigned Backup-Software (Legato Networker), Printers,Filesystems , TCP/IP- addresses, Domain Nameservices and System Management-Systems
• Patch-Management within the range UNIX
• Advancement of the Troubleticket-System (Remedy)
Person specification - higher weithing more important
• 10 - Technical University background
• 10 - One to three years of system administration experience with UNIX-Systems and/or Storage- and Backup-Systems
• 10 - English minimum intermediate-level
• 9 - Good knowledge of Sun Solaris, HP UX, Linux (Red Hat, SuSe), Samba, X-Applications, System- and Network management-Tools (Nagios), Script programming (Unix Shell), Storage- and BackupTechnology and related Software-Products
• 9 - German knowledge constitutes an asset
• 8 - Additional knowledge within the range AIX, Clearcase, Cluster-Technology, Programming in C/ C++ and Perl, Databases (Oracle)
