Responsible for scoping transition activities, establishing project plans, and successfully transitioning product into Plexus manufacturing.
Requires significant amount of professional interaction and communication with customer base. Interacts with Manufacturing Transition Team members, as well as upper management. Additional communication occurs with appropriate functional disciplines (Finance, Purchasing, Quoting, Manufacturing, and others).
Maintain/strengthen the customer relationship during crucial start-up and transition periods. Promote a professional relationship with the customer by maintaining and protecting the company’s image with respect to ethics, honesty, and competitiveness.
Responsible for utilizing the necessary Plexus resources to guarantee the shortest possible integration into manufacturing.
Responsible for scoping the activities required for a transition. Developing the transition timelines. Managing the customer and customer team activities associated to the transition throughout the project timeline.
Work with functional managers to allocate the appropriate resources to the MT Team.
Provide overall direction to the MT Teams in establishing tactical plans to accomplish the desired transition goals, including complete ownership of activities and metrics.
Maintain updated customer contact information and communicate significant changes to the organization as appropriate.
A Bachelor's degree in Business or Technical/Engineering.
Experience of min. 3 years is required for this position, assuming education requirements are met.
Equivalent industry experience of 1 or more years is highly desirable.
Advanced decision making, problem solving skills
Excellent communication and team skills are required.
A general knowledge of manufacturing, industrial sales, business and finance are required.
