- Maintains the Supplier SQP (APQP) status reporting using the available installed software tools
- Measures SQP status against defined KPI’s and identifies/implements necessary actions for improvement.
- Performs System, Process or Engineering audits at Supplier locations to evaluate planning/project progress and follows up audit action plans
- Holds APQP review meetings with Suppliers at appropriate intervals, depending upon project/status.
- Tracks Suppliers status during all phases S1 – S6 of project and reports in weekly/monthly project review meetings
- Validates new/modified components and coordinates part and process approval with Suppliers
- Analyses Customer Specific requirements and implements them in the relevant Supplier projects
- Proposes changes to the Yazaki Quality Management System based on new/revised Customer requirements
- Evaluates current production component status in GQRS-C and implements/monitors corrective/preventive activities at Suppliers
- Participates in sourcing decisions
- Drive supplier quality development by application of monthly score card and GQRSC results.
- Performs Yazaki Global and process assessments at supplier locations
- Master or bachelor degree in engineering, equivalent technical engineer.
- Prior experience in supply management activities overseeing the business functions of an automotive supplier.
- 3-5 years quality management / auditing and professional experience in automotive project management.
- Ability to give, receive and analyse information, formulate work plans, prepare written materials and articulate goals and action plans.
- Ability to communicate or negotiate effectively on any level.
- English, spoken and written, for business proficiency.
- Flexible in terms of travel and location.
