- Proactively control the performance of external suppliers and secure continuous improvements throughout the entire supplier base.
- Ensure that suppliers quality processes and procedures are compliant with the requested external standards as e.g. ISO9001, ISO/TS 16949 and customer specific requirements.
- Ensure the correct planning , implementation and follow up of corrective/preventive actions related to issues caused by suppliers.
- Improvement of the Supplier base by active participation together with Leoni central department in process and /or system audits and following up the corresponding action plans.
- Improve the performance of problematic suppliers according to PPM/other key factors evaluation.
-Technical university degree (electrical or mechanical engineering preferred).
- Fluent in English language, German language is an advantage.
- Relevant experience in automotive industry of minimum 3 years in engineering/quality field.
- Excellent leadership and negotiation skills.

In 2002 has started in Bistrita the building of the second Leoni unit in Romania, producing wiring systems for Daimler Chrysler and BMW.
