• To coordinate, source and negotiate cost effective solutions for HLA RFQs.
• Identify, select and propose suppliers’ of choice consistent with company goal and direction.
• To negotiate for cost reduction and achieve PPV goal
• Manage suppliers’ localization activities with exception to procuring material.
• Initiate, coordinate and follow up on incoming materials First Article request with suppliers
• Interface with Customers, Materials team, Engineering and relevant department to ensure success of localization activities.
• Explore and expand the mechanical suppliers
• Negotiate and manage the suppliers for cost effective proposal.
Degree in Engineering or equivalent with minimum 2 years experience in mechanical sourcing
Knowledge of custom engineered commodity and printed circuit boards will be an added advantage
Ability to interpret and analyze technical drawings
Exhibit strong negotiation skills
Able to analyze the market trend / information effectively
Knowledge of local and regional supplier base is an added advantage
Good interpersonal skills.
