Role: To direct and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in the manufacturing and support functions related for a specific customer, in order to attain production goals consistent with cost, quality and delivery requirements.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
·Lead and manage manufacturing and functional team (engineering support, quality engineers, lean support, test & debug support and production controller team) ·Lead the technical efforts to build the architecture for a specific product.
·Manage the manufacturing costs related to labor efficiency, operating supplies, scrap and equipment utilization.
·Achieve and continually improve, targeted product and process Yield metrics, in according with customer Quality requirements
·Selects and develops direct employees to ensure an efficient production function.
·Collaborates with functional leaders during the selection process for indirect personnel.
·Confers with functional leaders to develop the technical capabilities of the functions inside the value stream.
·Conducts performance evaluations and recognition /disciplinary processes in accordance with Solectron HR policies and procedures.
·3+ years experience in production management, in a high volume/mix manufacturing environment
·Bachelor's degree in engineering or economics
·Strong leadership personality - clear vision, role model, standard-setter, coach, motivator
·Very good people and/or process management skills
·Strong listening, communication and influencing skills – verbal, written and formal
·Fluent verbal/written English and Romanian are a must
·Good customer relationship skills
·Advanced problem-solving skills
·Ability to understand and act on business/financial reports and KPIs.
·Advanced skills of computer literacy – MS Office, ERP systems, manufacturing control systems etc.
