Overview
Three Pillar Global is searching for a PHP Technical Lead. The most competitive candidates will display a strong understanding of Three Pillar Global’s objectives, strategy and values. You will add your skills and years of experience to an already established team of talented consultants that all work towards the same goal of meeting our client’s needs. This individual should maintain a high awareness of industry issues and trends, particularly in regard to accessibility, usability and emerging technologies and keep team members informed as appropriate with a view to incorporating these in future projects and staying ahead of the market.
Responsibilities
Design and develop software components using PHP and MySQL
Collaborate with other team members to incorporate best practices and innovations into our projects
Leverage team development standards, patterns and design principles in daily activities
Collaborate closely with product managers, user experience, and QA during discovery, design and development
Stay current on technology trends and identify ways to innovate our projects
Requirements
Commitment to teamwork, processes, and planning in order to ensure the success of the project and client objectives
An uncanny ability to communicate with other team members, project management and clients
Very good spoken and written English skills

Technical Skills/Experience:
5+ years development experience using PHP, MySQL, HTML, and CSS Solid understanding of Object Oriented and MVC Programming patterns
Experience with Zend and similar framework (Symfony, CakePHP, Kohana)
Experience developing enterprise web applications
Experience writing and executing unit test scripts
Experience using version control such as Subversion or GIT
Very strong technical competence and background delivering projects on time
Ability to multi-task and adapt to shifting project requirements
Comprehension and focus on cross-browser compatibility
JQuery experience is a plus
Agile scrum experience is a plus
Java experience is a plus
