Adecco Romania recruits for its client, an important company acting in EMS industry located in Oradea, an Operation Director whose main responsibilities will be:
• Act as the primary contact point in-region for interface with Government organizations
• Achieve site financial and operational commitments
• Manage operational start up plans in line with project plan and budget
• Provide leadership, direction and oversight to all Functional Managers in the site who directly report to this position, including Manufacturing Manager, Engineering Manager, Finance Manager, Quality Manager, Materials Manager and H.R. Manager.
• Work closely with other Site Managers, Central Procurement, Marketing, Customer Management and Business Development to help Plexus attain world-class status through metrics, change management and continuous improvement
• Oversee customer relationships, work directly with the Customer Managers to assure management of the customer P&L and secure future growth opportunities
• Support marketing of Company to new customers
• Monitor and manage building performance metrics. Set direction for building specific projects and continuous improve
• Maintain a current site organization chart and succession plan. The plan should assure career development of indirect personnel
• Provide input to CompanyCorporate Technology Group regarding current and future equipment and process capabilities
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering is required
• An MBA and/or previous P&L responsibility is a plus
• A minimum of 10 years experience in electronic manufacturing service industry or related field
• A highly skilled manager with well-rounded experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
• P&L experience as a Plant Manager or above level with management responsibility for manufacturing processes of high technology products and services in an electronics-manufacturing environment is beneficial
• Additionally, the position requires extensive customer and marketing interaction experience
• Employee must be self-motivated with the ability to provide leadership while working independently, as well as in a team environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as organization skills are essential
• Working P&L knowledge, excellent manufacturing process knowledge, future strategic planning knowledge, and team skills are important
• This employee must be enthusiastic about coordinating teams of manufacturing managers and professionals in the contract manufacturing services industry
• Hands-on directing and supporting the manufacturing and customer teams
• Attention to detail and computer literacy needed
