Purpose of the position:
Ensure testing of key functionality and safety, compliance with technical standards (internal/external) for OEM products
Ensure benchmark testing of competitors’ products
Main responsibilities:
- Define relevant specifications and ensure testing on:
o Thermal and electrical safety according to internal/external standards, including preparation of relevant documentation;
o Energy consumption
o Noise
o Environmental impact
o Product reliability/Lifetime
o Materials (e.g. surface cleanability…)
o Transportation
- Ensure alignment on test methodologies with other Labs;
- Ensure proper maintenance of testing equipment according to ISO9000;
- Ensure compliance with work environment and safety regulations;
- Budget and personnel responsibility for the assigned team;
- Responsible for team members and competences development.
- University degree in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering;
- Experience in
• Product development and product creation processes
• Testing methodologies (DOE, statistical methodologies…)
- Ability to work in a matrix organization
- Project and resources planning
- Team oriented and good communication skills
- Ability to take initiative, proactive
