PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Technical support (in RFQ phase) to acquire new projects, technical project management and industrialization of new products and new processes (manufacturing engineering)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinates a group of skilled NPI project leaders;
- Coordinates manufacturing engineering consisting of: process engineering, testing, time and methods, equipment and industrial engineering;
- Support RFQ phase for new projects (concepts, quotes, NREs);
- Support plant budgeting process (investment needs, equipment lists…);
- Plant investment define and control;
- Plant layout development;
- Technical project management (timing, NRE, resources, risk management);
- Process development (equipment, hall/lines layout, work instructions, tooling…) for: precision plastic molding, tampon printing, hot stamping, robotic painting, SMT reflow, BGA/X-ray, selective/robotic/manual soldering, ultrasonic welding, automatic/semiautomatic/manual assembly, packaging;
- Industrial engineering (line balancing, bottleneck analysis, optimizations);
- Test process development (AOI, ICT, FT…);
- Industrialization new products/processes (line setup, start-up, build samples/prototypes, ramp-up…);
- Support phase-out at EOL;
- Change management (engineering change requests/proposals/orders)
- Liaison with Yazaki Europe and Japan (R&D, Sales, Account/Project Management, manufacturing engineering, manufacturing, costing
Technical University Degree
min. 10 years relevant experience:
Project/Program management experience few years
Knowledge of ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001
Manufacturing engineering manager experience few years
EMS and automotive experience and knowledge
Very structured and organized, good problem solving approach and skills
Good negotiation skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, good listener
Strong leadership personality, hands-on profile, example able to enthusiast highly qualified staff/engineers
Multicultural experience and exposure (tact and diplomacy)
Ownership and high level of cost awareness, integrity and business ethics
Advanced English communication skills (written and verbal)
Driving License B
