Junior Back Office Transmissions Engineer is responsible for the following tasks but not limited to: integration, configuration, re-parenting and migration of routes, MUX configuration. It assists the field staff for site integration/configuration; knowledge of SDH/PDH technology and IP knowledge is a plus.
Configuration management of network elements.
Management of operations planning.
The rapid escalation and notification of incidents during operations.
To ensure that telecom services are built into the contractual deadlines.
To provide a rapid return to customers in relation to common questions.
Preventive/corrective maintenance (regular tasks / incidents)
Creating, updating and following all the tickets
Technical background (Electronics and Telecommunications, Computer Science or relevant experience);
Good knowledge of SDH/PDH, IP knowledge represents an advantage;
English and French language skills (intermediate);
Understanding of general networks and telecommunications principles;
Ability to work in teams;
Critical thinking and ability to adapt quickly to a new operation.
