1. Justify and implement capital projects to improve productivity, quality, and safety.
2. Design, implement, maintain and improve manufacturing processes, tooling and equipment.
3. Corrective action teams responsible to identify the root cause of production issues and implement sustainable corrective actions.
4. Provide production guidance through hands on floor support, development of work instructions and real time problem resolution.
5. Assist with the development, implementation, and sustainment of safety programs to ensure effective risk control and compliance with applicable laws, regulations and standards.
6. Utilize lean tools to drive initiatives focusing on product flow, visual management, 6S, TPM, SMED or productivity improvement.
1. Mechanical Engineering or similar technical graduate profile;
2. Experience in cold pressing technology, good knowledge in the field, design molds for metal dies;
3. Experience of minimum 3 years in a stamping department with mechanical and hydraulic presses;
5. Experience in realization of production documentation work instructions and documentation of process parameters for presses and dies;
6. 2D and 3D design technology specific cold pressing, punching molds;
7. Know the basic principles and way of operation for mechanical and hydraulic presses as well as the classic and progressive dies;
8. Have experience in coordinating production activities in a workshop, pressing department with mechanical and hydraulic presses.
