* Inform the top management about financial-accounting, controlling, purchasing and information management (IT) activities of LEONI Wiring Systems Arad;
* Participate in decision making, formulate strategies and future planning;
* Ensure the management of the Finance department by following the rules, regulations and applicable law in Romania, as well as the internal rules and procedures specific to LEONI;
* Delegate and coordinate the responsibilities within financial-accounting, controlling, purchasing and IT sub-departments;
* Establish and update the procedures and specific work instructions necessary for coordinating the Finance department and company’s activity according to Romanian law and LEONI’s rules and procedures;
* Represent the company in relation with the State Administration regarding finance-accounting, controlling, purchasing and information management (IT). In charge of internal and external auditors, banks, insurance companies, and other institutions, within the limits of the mandate given by General Manager/Administrators;
* Ensure the preparation and timely submission of accurate and complete statements and reports to the State Government under applicable law in Romania;
* Ensure reconciliation activities/process within LEONI in order to complete monthly reports and consolidation;
* Preparing budget and its continuous monitoring; supervise the budgeting process for all departments within plant and offer support when necessary;
* Provide complete, accurate and timely information, analyses, financial reports and forecasts to: General Manager, Administrators, Business Units, and different divisions/departments within LEONI;
* Assess cost-reduction opportunities and initiate and/or approve potential continuous improvement projects, as well as Six Sigma projects;
* Cooperate with other members of company’s management team and other departments;
* Monthly meetings with top management regarding company’s financial results emphasizing the production variation and offering support and financial counselling when necessary;
* Constantly inform about the specific legislative changes and other useful information that derive from its area of expertise.
* University Degree in Economics or Accounting
* Professional financial qualification
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a large multinational environment
* Excellent leadership skills (feedback, delegation, team management)
* Good communication abilities (with both internal departments and external customers/suppliers)
* Conflict management
* Strong analytical skills
* Time management
* Excellent command of written and spoken English; German language is an advantage
* Excellent command of MS Office and SAP program (finance, controlling and reporting); SAP-SEM; overview of ERP systems

In 2002 has started in Bistrita the building of the second Leoni unit in Romania, producing wiring systems for Daimler Chrysler and BMW.
