Develop content for proposed DFM Guidelines updates. Review/approve proposed Guidelines changes on behalf of Region (consult with all sites as required).
Provide training as needed in Region (Valor Basic, DFM 101, Celestica Valor DFM, Celestica Valor Pin2pad). Qualify trainees in the Region. Answer questions from users in Europe Region. Update training material & user documents to reflect any changes to process, e.g. DFM Guidelines changes, Checklist/Report changes, Valor changes, etc.
Represent user community and provide input on deliverables/priority of development projects. UAT (user acceptance test) for new/enhanced processes prior to deployment. Analyze manufacturing production issues to identify gaps in the DFM process. Develop & implement process improvements, e.g. reduce time for DFM analysis, improve Valor coverage, gather supporting data for impact assessment/ Guidelines (design/build/analyze test vehicles), etc.
Promote regular communication within the region, and with the Corporate Engineering Solutions Department.
Highlight DFM issues to the Global DFM Team.
Degree level in an appropriate electronics/manufacturing engineering;
Minimum 1-2 yrs experience in PCBs manufacturing (as ME/QE or similar role), good knowledge of assembly technology and manufacturing processes;
Graduates will be considered as full training will be provided;
Good written English skills (to communicate via email);
Able to work independently without close supervision.
