RESPONSABILITATI

Perform a variety of engineering work in designing, planning and overseeing manufacture, construction, installation, operation and maintenance of electrical/electronic components, equipment and systems as they relate to new product development. Requires application and knowledge of engineering techniques, manufacturing and assembly processes and properties of materials. Support the continuous improvement activities of Purchasing Department as it relates to generic crossovers and sourcing of components for improved pricing and/or quality.


CERINTE

Technical
1.Must have a thorough understanding of drafting standards and techniques (using CAD tools); a capability to visualize components, features and assemblies in three-dimensional space; proficiency the commonly used CAD tool and other common computer software. (e.g. word processing, e-mail spreadsheets, etc.)
2.Strong Internet skills as related to research searches.
3.Sufficient organizational skills to prioritize, schedule, plan, coordinate, implements and follow-up assigned projects.
4.Excellent math skills especially in the areas of part dimensioning, tolerance and statistical principals.
5.Strong Quality Background. Able to define critical-to-quality features, generate First Article Inspection Reports (FPI), Incoming Inspection documents, etc.
6.Proficient in the use of measuring instruments: calipers, VOM, force gages, etc.
7.Strong costing background and how it relates to overall company profitability.
8.Capable of understanding industry standards such as NEMA, ASQC, etc.
9.Strong background in manufacturing processes and their capabilities.
10.Familiar with inventory management systems such as MRP/ERP systems. (Axapta a plus)

1.Able to effectively communicate and work with all levels of individuals including customers, suppliers, peers, and upper management; both technical and non-technical oriented.
2.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
3.Self motivated and goal oriented.
4.Able to motivate others.

Specialized Knowledge:

1.Trained in 3D Design software, preferably Autodesk Inventor.
2.Associated Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Design Related field plus at least five to seven years experience. (Note: additional applicable experience can be considered in lieu of Degree)
3.Proficient in use of computer in areas such as Outlook, MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

General:

1.Some Travel will be required.
2.Familiarization with Swine and Poultry Industry a plus.
3.Agricultural Ventilation and Heating experience a plus.
4.Spanish and Mandarin language skills a plus.
