On behalf of our client, a leader in fixed, mobile and converged broadband networking, IP and optics technologies, applications and services, we are searching for proactive, dynamic and motivated persons to fill the Circuit Switch Core Engineer position.
The successful candidate will be involved in:
- 2nd level Incident Management for circuit switched core network elements, on call 24/7;
- Configuration Management ;
- Problem Management ;
- Proactive Maintenance (regular tasks).
- Degree/Diploma, related to telecommunications, electronics, informatics or equivalent relevant experience;
- Relevant experience in a support environment;
- Must have knowledge in 2G/3G mobile network topology;
- In-depth knowledge of mobile core network elements, preferably Nokia (MSC/MSCi, HLR/HLRi, MSS, MGW, CDA, STP);
- Experience with SS7 signalling and SS7 monitoring systems
- Good knowledge in network fault/ performance/ configuration management tools;
- Familiar with regular proactive and preventive maintenance (Backup, Clear Code and Alarm analysis);
- English fluent in spoken and written (additionally German, if possible).
