Provides an evaluation of the internal controls;
Makes recommendations on policies and procedures;
Provides basic guidance to site on Control Self Assessment (CSA);
Requests and gathers CSA inputs, summarizes the results and prepares management report;
Is the site contact for business controls advice;
Acts as a liaison to internal auditors;
Documents risk acceptances and obtains relevant approval;
Reports on performance of activities in finance and other departments;
Performs other assignments per management request;
Controls and minimizes risk exposures, increase in process effectiveness and efficiency and reduction in costs.
Basic understanding of internal and external customer needs is required to make effective/informed decisions;
Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills;
Ability to consolidate, manipulate and analyze large quantities of data;
Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy and working under tight time deadlines;
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external customers;
Provide recommendations based on interpretation of results;
Working knowledge of business process redesign and business process analysis techniques;
Previous audit experience;
This job is a blend of Finance and Accounting, Information Technology and systems related areas;
Excellent English skills;
Occasional overnight travel may be required.
