- answer tointernal departments' request for new technologies;
- perform activities to transpose the client requirements for implemetation of production technology in order to define the tender specification book
- selection of optimum / adequate equipment for specific processes for automatic equipment
- centralize documentation for equipment ordering and send it to Purchasing ( initiate order)
- centralize samples from requester and send package to equipment suppliers for the acquisition of production equipment
- manage the list of open point from equipment commissioning and pre-releases
- plan and coordinate activities for installation of production equipment
- coordinate and perform activities for commissioning of automated production equipment in close relations with other departments
- coordinate and perform activities to launch into production of new materia configuration on automated production equipemnt
- performa activities in order to establish parameters for production equipment during product changes and new introduction (Change Management & Project Management)
- perform activities in order to establish and document in work instructions machine operating method
- perform training to relevant personnel of operation methods on production equipment
- perform internal audits for equipment/tools maintenance and operation
- technical University degree ( mechanics, automatics, mechatronics, eletronics)
- knowledge of eletronic engineering, digital processing, industrial robotics and automation represents and advantage
- knowledge of pneumatic, electro mechanical and hydraulic controls represents and advantage
- advanced practical abilities
- fault finding ability and eliminate the cause of defects
- fluent in English ; German is an advantage
- PC Knowledge: Ms Office it's a must, AutoCAD and/or PLC programming is an advantage

In 2002 has started in Bistrita the building of the second Leoni unit in Romania, producing wiring systems for Daimler Chrysler and BMW.
