Job Summary
Technical / Operational
► Assists in development of IT Security related Standards, Processes and Procedures
► Performs periodic IT Security audits as defined by the IT Security Policy
► Recognizes and identifies potential areas where existing data security polices and procedures require change, or where new ones need to be developed, especially regarding future expansion
► Works with the various IT groups to define the computer security architecture, technical standards and procedures and participate in negotiations for IT security tools, products and services
► Works with the various IT groups to determine IT solutions, coordinate their development and testing, build consensus, and sell/execute solutions
► Recognizes and identifies potential areas where existing data security polices and procedures require change, or where new ones need to be developed, especially regarding future business expansion.
► Assists the organization with establishing risk tolerance levels by providing relevant, timely and reliable knowledge
► Ensures that the IT department provides appropriate access to and protects the confidentiality and integrity of information in compliance with KAUST’s policies and standards.
► Ongoing operational analysis to ensure that the rapidly evolving environment is secure
► Identifying and evaluating new and emerging technologies & products to be introduced to improve protections
Required Education / Qualification
► Bachelor degree in Computer related field
► Preferred Project Management (PMP) and Lean Six Sigma experience
► Minimum of 4 years of experience in a client facing business analysis or consulting environment developinis a must.
► CISSP or GSEC certification preferred
