DESCRIPTION OF JOB:
- The role will be primarily office based but may, as the project develops, require the ability and willingness to become involved in site installation activities
- Provide engineering expertise during scoping, applying, designing, construction, selection, specification preparation and review, bid analysis, inspection, and testing phases
- Knowledge of design theory, equipment sizing and selection, design specifications, industry standards and equipment installation for pressure vessels, columns, tanks, heat exchangers etc. for a refinery, petrochemical or complex oil, gas production facilities
- Extensive familiarity with internationally recognized codes and standards, e.g., API, ASME, TEMA, NACE, BS etc.
- Demonstrate highest safety & environmental performance qualities, must be proactive in addressing safety issues and have a proved track record of strong support of processes that support incident free operations.
QUALIFICATION:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Microsoft Access, Excel
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
5- 10 Years
- Mechanical Engineer with 5-10 years experience in Oil/Gas/PetroChem projects with +3 years design experience in the static equipment for Oil & Gas environment
- Ability to work effectively (minimal supervision) in a diverse, multidiscipline team environment
- Good communication and technical writing skills in English language
- Computer literate
