Lead the translation of the overall engineering strategy into goals and activities for the maintenance deparment;
Prepare departmental budget and ensure that expenditure is as per budget and report any risk of deviation;
Lead the development of engineering -related policies and standards for the company, ensuring that best practices and industry standards are reflected in the policies;
Approve requisitions for major engineering equipment purchase;
Lead the evaluation of potential contractors for engineering services;
Review status on highly complex engineering work regularly;
Plan staffing requirements for the Department, conduct performance reviews of subordinates and to finalise staff development program and training needs.
Degree in chemical engineering;
28-32 years experience in engineering in an increasingly responsible position, in a related industry;
Good knowledge of process operations of plants;
Good knowledge of international engineering standards;
Leadership skills;
Negotiation skills;
Budgeting skills.
Salary package overview :
Basic salary in USD;
- 65% of basic salary as allowances for Housing & Transportation; - Paid vacation with interim field leaves if re-contracted;
