RESPONSABILITATI

1. Motivate and train the Section Managers enabling them to train their respective staff to enhance their skills and performance in order to maximize their productivity.
2. Conduct staff meeting on regular basis and monitor the appraisal of the staff and listen to their suggestions and ideas.
3. Perform the selection and recruitment process and identify potential candidate for career development and to reward the outstanding performers.
4. In the absence of GM/AGM, assume the responsibilities and act on their behalf.
5. Report immediately to the Store-GM, of any incidents/irregularities that could effect the operation of the Store.
6. Ensure that goods in the Store are proper for general consumption in good condition and fit for the intended purpose. Also, ensure accessibility, cleanliness, price labeling and expiry.
7. Plan and ensure that availability of the product range corresponds to customer need, market ability and volume of sales in terms of quantity and quality.
8. Identify fast moving goods and follow their evolution, so that customers needs could be met as per their requirements reflects the sales figures.
9. Keep track of competitors price level and take appropriate decision on pricing product, so that continents customers segment could be preserved and further expanded.
10. Ensure to have quality suppliers and negotiate best purchasing terms including rebate and promotional support.
11. Propose plan for conducting product sales promotions and upon approval should monitor and evaluate the promotions effectiveness.
12. Prepare department's budget in co-ordination with Section Manager, facilitate to achieve global budget and upon approval should ensure it's implementation.
13. Produce the P&L account in co-ordination with the Section Manager and finalize the operating budget.
14. Monitor the performance of each section through monthly report and to take corrective measures in the case no improvements.
15. Estimate the probability of negative consequences arising die to disparities/variations in the annual performance results.
16. Control the payments authorized by the Section Managers and ensure that they are fully justified and is in accordance with the Store policy and need.
17. Ensure that financial policies and procedures are followed consistently.
18. Ensure the adequate implementation of Municipality & Carrefour Hygiene standards (Applicable to Foods Dept. only).


CERINTE

1. Preferably a Graduate in Commerce / Business or Marketing Management with a minimum 06 years in major Hypermarkets at supervisory level.
2. Computer literate, dynamic, enthusiastic, mature and ability to handle/manage multinational staff with a team spirit.
3. Good administrative and management skills.
4. Must be very good in English.
5. Should be pro-active and maintain inter-personal relations.
6. A good understanding of total supply chain preferably with some product knowledge.
7. Good negotiating, commercial and operational skills.
8. A level of experience and maturity to handle all the retail – commercial and operational section.
9. Should have an inclination to monitor the local market and keep track of competitor position.
10. Should be constantly aware of market changes and be familiar with technology evolution and current need of the consumers.
