Job Summary
► Architect and design solutions/systems
► Design and develop the logic of web application that satisfies client requirements
► Develop publishing and collaboration portals for both for internet and intranet environment.
► Create site columns, content types, Page Layouts customizing search functionality.
► Create the data view web part and jQuery.
► Create features, solutions, list definitions and site definitions.
► Develop web parts and smart parts.
► Develop and consume the SharePoint web services
► Develop codes for the web services and validations
► Create Workflows using SharePoint Designer and Visual Studio
► Researches, designs and implements web and database applications
► Develops process specification and monitoring
► Entails the building, development and maintenance of the front and back ends of the KAUST’s intranet and internet.
► Creates and maintains good technical documentation.
► Creates enhancements and modifications to websites.
► Assesses new standards, technologies and trends, and impalements them using existing environment.
► Ensures that websites are accessible from a variety of different environments.
► Troubleshoots and repairs bugs and problems.
► Web issues awareness and education.
Required Education / Qualification
► Degree educated in IT related discipline.
► Minimum 6 years’ experience in web development.
► Minimum 3 years experiences in SharePoint Technologies
► Strong Experience in SharePoint 2010 WCM & Collaboration, Development using SP Object Model using Visual Studio
► Strong Experience in SharePoint XSLT Web Parts, List Forms And Page Layout Customization Using SharePoint Designer 2010
► Strong Experience in .Net 3.5
► Strong Experience in ASP.Net 3.50
► Strong Experience in JQuery
► Sufficient communication skills for effective dialogue with colleagues.
► Able to work in a team and individually.
► Able to plan, schedule and monitor own work within short time horizons.
► Absorbs technical information when it is presented systematically and applies it effectively.
