Job Description
To ensure that under the direction and guidance of the Tooling Engineer that all tooling repairs and TPM’s are carried out in a timely manner to meet production needs.
•
• Carry out work in accordance with the corrective maintenance plan.
• Carry out work in accordance with the preventative maintenance plan.
• Respond to breakdowns in an efficient manner
• Carry out in press die repairs in an efficient manner
• Ensure all repairs are carried out in agreed timescale with no disruption to production.
• Work with Engineers and the Tooling Engineer to reduce off standards on tooling problems.
• Maintain standards of Health and Safety and Environmental requirements.
• Compile Tool reports for refurbishment when required.
• Carry out repairs on any weld jigs / fixtures.
• Carry out tool change-overs as required
• Liaise daily with Production Team Leaders and Engineers on Tooling or process issues.
• Carry out tooling modifications / refurbishments in an agreed timescale.
• Manufacture jigs and poke yoke devices in agreed timescale.
• Ensure control of spares and replenishment systems
• Accurate data capture in line with company processes
Experience: 1-2 years
Work shifts: 6.00am – 2.00pm and 2.00am – 10.00pm
Good english level
Willingness of doing the job and learning as much as possible .
