Mechanical Design Draughtsman capable of developing basic system design
to detail design for production and installation utilising 2D/3D CAD packages.
• Development of basic system design drawings/
specifications to detail design cabling diagrams,
equipment connection details, cable termination
schedules and cable routing drawings in either a 2D or
3D environment iaw relevant specifications and design
intent
• Liasing with Professional Engineers during system
development.
• Production of technical documents and reports
• On-site surveys in support of the development of detail
system design.
• Production of material take-offs
• Task performance against budget and schedule and
reporting progress to relevant leader/manager
•Practical electrical engineering system design
experience
• Appreciation of shipyard system production and
installation processes
• Ability to work effectively in a team
• Work off- site at clients premises, both in the UK and
overseas
