For one of our clients, a world leader in the online gaming sector, we are looking for a Data Analyst, UK based.
You will be responsible for research and analysis related to the entire gaming business and all revenue streams.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop algorithms to work at scale and to extract insight from large data sets
Perform a wide range of analysis to produce meaningful insights that improve engagement and monetization across the gaming platform
Build and maintain complex statistical models that learn from and scale to hundreds of thousands
Monitor and optimise our product performance for revenue and retention
Conduct proactive in-depth analysis and modelling to uncover hidden opportunities and then communicate insights to the management team
Required skills:
Proven experience in Data Analysis
Experience building models with large data bases of consumer activity (such as online transactions or loyalty programs)
Experience performing quantitative analysis, preferably for an internet or technology company
Strong academic background from degree level and up (a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field)
Ability to write quality code for large data sets
Excellent with Excel – logical, text, date, statistical, lookup and reference functions, charts and formatting are a must
Excellent SQL skills: experience querying large, complex data sets (a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience) – familiar with the structure of databases and tables, field types, query structure, string, numeric, date and time functions, joins and temporary tables are a must
