Your responsibilities while working as a care assistant would be the
following:
- assisting the elderly people with their personal hygiene (washing them,
changing their clothes)
- serving their meals
- assisting them in their daily activities in the care home.
Your duties as a nurse will consist of:
- measuring the vital signs
- administering medication
- dressing pressure sores
- calling the ambulance in case of emergency
- filling in the care plans.
Our client is a care homes chain located in the South of England (London
surroundings and Kent county).
They are looking for nurses to work as care assistants for 4 - 9 months
while they are trained to become nurses and until they get the PIN from
NMC.
The eligible candidates should fall into one of the following categories:
- newly graduated nurses without experience
- newly graduated nurses who have worked only as volunteers
- nurses with experience in stomatology medical offices
The employer also accepts nurses with experience but who don't have the
PIN from NMC yet. For these category of persons we provide assistant in
getting the PIN.
The level of English required is conversational.
Full time contract
Salary: for care assistant - £7.5 gross/hour which equalizes to £1130
NET/months (calculated for 40hours/week)
for nurse - £12.5/hour which equalizes to £1720 NET/month
(calculated for 40 hours/week)
You can work overtime hours up to 60 hours/week.
Accommodation is provided by the employer and it costs £250 - £400/month
(the price includes utilities)
You will have a work contract and will get the National Insurance Number
(NINo)
