Fire Team Leader

Duties:
The main objective of the Fire Team Leader will be that within six months he will have set up the Fire Emergency Response Team and ensured that they are adequately trained. From within the Fire Emergency Team members he shall also identify those team members who display the necessary qualities to become Fire Team Leaders and ensure that they are adequately trained to assume that role.

His other duties will include but not be limited to:
? Assisting the EHS Co-ordinator on any fire related issues.
? Providing advice and information on all fire related issues
? Providing leadership and command of Emergency Response Team during emergency situations.
? Monitoring progress of Fixed Fire Systems installation in CPF and highlight any deviation from the P&ID.
? Monitoring progress on all Entrepose provided Portable Fire Fighting Equipment and ensure that its installation complies with the Plot Plan.
? Monitoring progress on all Fire-Fighting Equipment to be provided by BR.
? Progressing work on the preparation of the Temporary Fire Training Ground and when ready commence practical training courses.
? Developing a programme for Theoretical and Practical Fire-Fighting and SCBA wearing and Maintenance Training Courses and develop course syllabus and handouts.
? Commencing preparations for Fire Truck Training.
? Setting-up inspection and testing programme for all fixed and portable fire fighting systems and equipment.
? Developing, in association with the EHS co-ordinator and the Production Superintendent and compile a syllabus for regular training sessions for the Emergency Response Team.
? Developing a series of Emergency Exercise scenarios for the CPF.
