JOB TITLE: FIELD OPERATOR
POSITION No.: 20
REPORTS TO: Field Foreman
SUPERVISES: Ad-hoc field labour crews
JOB SPECIFICS:
- 2 positions.
- The position is based at MLN FIELD/CPF.
- Rotation 4/4 (weeks).
- Position 1 BR 1 Sonatrach.
OUTPUTS:
- Confirm daily field volumes and pressures with plant for verification of last well test and estimated allocation against well. This includes produced and injected volumes and pressures.
- Record flow line pressures and confirm accuracy with plant readings
- Monitor well test, well intervention and routine equipment repair jobs for safety and accuracy of completion of task.
- Carry out scheduled pigging routine for infield flow lines.
- Perform routine maintenance/trouble shooting on any wellhead, pipeline and flow line valves and or instrumentation.
- Able to understand or explain variances in budget expense and volume figures.
- Monitoring and steady state operations of chemical injection program for field applications.
- Able to explain chemical application with fundamental knowledge of hazards associated with chemicals injected.
