Control Room Operator (MLN Project)

RESPONSABILITATI

JOB TITLE: MLN CONTROL ROOM OPERATOR
REPORTS TO: Ops & Maintenance Superintendent
SUPERVISES: None



SPECIFIC TASKS:
- Operating the control consuls monitoring the plant and field status's
- Reacting to alarms as they occur shutting down plant as required
- Maintenance of all set points, alarm settings, inhibits and isolations registers and records
- Required Signature on all permits to work system both initiation and completion
- Directs Plant and Field Foremen to areas requiring investigation
- Prepares daily production reports utilising data from computerised control systems
- Operates plant radio base station to communicate with Operations and maintenance personnel in CPF and in the Field
- Monitors fire and gas alarms and ESD systems and responds to these as they occur.
- Maintains fault register and status registers of all plant and equipment out of service or under maintenance.
- Initiates inhibits and overrides on the control systems as needed to allow maintenance to be undertaken.
- Initiates emergency response to any incidents that originate in the Plant or at Wellsites

OUTPUTS:
- Alarm Records and Control system status reports
- Up to date plant Registers for set points, alarm settings, inhibits and isolations spading etc
- Copies of all signed, in progress and completed work permits
- Production reports and production data
- Daily reports detailing problems regarding production
- Requests to Investigate areas to Plant Foremen, Field Foreman and MMS planner
- Plant status registers.
