Supervising and directing field construction operations within assigned disciplines or area Supervisors and directs Craft activities. This function deals in multiple disciplines of infrastructure, road building and housing construction
- Preparing schedules, construction methods and procedures;
- Coordinating established area operational plans. Schedules work to be performed and reviews work accomplished by each craft;
- Preparing reports and forecasts, including summary of construction progress, job manpower forecasts and expenditures forecast;
- Monitoring the activities of subcontractors to ensure compliance with specifications and schedules;
- Performing personnel evaluations on subordinate personnel;
- Ensuring that all safety codes, requirements and standards are being complied within assigned area of responsibility.
- Project experience with bulk earthworks and roads (asphalt) including heavy machinery requirments
- Industry Experience/Government or Related Experience 10 years. Successful experience (5-7 years) as construction superintendent
- Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
