For one of our Clients, a multinational company located in Alba-Iulia, with a focus on high technological products and innovation, with expertise in design and prototyping of automotive components, we are looking for a Quality Manager.
Main responsibilities:
•Coaching a team of 10 quality engineers in order to support and improve the running production;
•Planning, organizing, controlling and evaluating the activities and operations of Quality Department;
•Managing the interface with local production and Global Quality;
•Managing customer complaints and coordinate action plans to eradicate root causes;
•Ensuring quality external certification and customer audits;
•Providing technical support to define quality specifications for new products, new process and changes to existing ones;
•Managing the quality costs and the costs of non-quality;
•Establishing a quality information management system to provide information to the management team on quality and costs.
To be successful you need:
•Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferably);
•Experience of at least 5 years in Production or Quality management in automotive;
•Strong analytical skills, combined with hands on mentality;
•Strong affinity for the automotive and mechanical industry;
•Ability to mentor, motivate, educate and interact with people;
•A good knowledge of English and knowledge of German is an asset.
