As a Java Android Expert your main responsibilities are hands-on mobile Java Development on Android, ensuring that the graphical interface meets the end-users expectations of look & feel as well as speed and functionality. Your work will also include daily problem solving, development of unit tests, maintenance and documentation. Apart from close cooperation with all members of your team, you will work close to the Product Management team to ensure that the end-user experience of our clients becomes optimal. Interaction with other parts of Wayfinder will be a natural and very important part of your work.
In order for us to consider you as a candidate, you are required to have several years of hands on experience of mobile Java development, and in addition some experience of mobile Java development for the Android platform. The successful applicant has experience in object oriented architecture and extensive user interface development experience on mobile devices. You also master base technologies like networking, TCP/IP, HTTP, Sockets and Threads. Experience from configuration management and game development is a merit. We believe that you have worked with version control systems Mercurial/CVS.
As a person you are characterized by drive, ambition and problem solving skills. The quality in your work is always in focus and your strategic and analytical skills are outstanding. You are an excellent communicator and a result oriented team player. Your English reading and writing is fluent.
