Project Manager / Site Manager

Your role will be to provide Project Management on dairy, brewery and food projects, leading of a team consisting of Mechanical Design Engineers, Process Design Engineers, Project Managers & Sales Staff. You will be involved in all phases from design, through installation to commissioning for major capital projects, of up to 18 months duration.
The position includes consultancy, sales support, office based design, site visits and commissioning periods on customers sites with longer periods of field based working on-site.

Your Tasks:
• Managing projects from proposal stage to final handover and customer acceptance, ensuring that the project meets our technical, commercial and contractual commitments and the customer's satisfaction.
• Supporting the sales team through review of risk, contents and schedules on new enquiries.
• Managing expenditure and cash-flow on the project.
• Preparing and maintaining a detailed project schedule covering all engineering disciplines, component/equipment supply, installation and commissioning and customer related activities.
• Ensuring that the project execution plan is followed in terms of protocol, quality, design standards and health and safety.
• Representing the company at meetings with customers and/or sub-contractors to ensure a smooth exchange of information between the contracted parties.
• Negotiating any variations to contract with the customer.
• Preparing technical and commercial documentation for purchases from third parties and assisting Supply Chain Management in negotiating the best commercial arrangements with sub-contractors.
• Maintining clear and accurate records of all contractual and design matters
• Co-ordinating all the engineering disciplines involved in the project, (internal and sub-contract)
• Maintaining quality control on all aspects of the Project.
• Negotiating plant acceptance with the customer.
• Liaising with other company engineering centres worldwide if needed.
• Ensuring that the legal requirements relating to machinery design and HSE practices are followed at all times


CERINTE

Your Qualifications:
• Engineering degree in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical or related discipline
• Knowledge of Financial tools for Project Management
• Experience in commercial and technical reporting for internal and external requirements
• Commercial conditions for Engineering Contracts
• Negotiation and communication skills.
• Good English
• Experience with process engineering projects
• Self-driven, Innovative, responsible, Open, inspirational project manager, with ability to guide, coach and lead from the front
• Adaptable and resourceful, High level of personal integrity
