Mechanical Design Engineer
Junior/Senior/Supervisor/Manager


Your role will be to provide mechanical design and process Engineering on dairy, brewery and food project as part of a team consisting of Mechanical Design Engineers, Process Design Engineers, Project Managers & Sales Staff. You will be involved in all phases from design, through installation to commissioning for major capital projects, of up to 18 months duration.
The position will include sales support, office based design, and will extend from time-to-time to consultancy, site service visits and commissioning periods on customers sites (travel and site work: 25–50%)

Your Tasks:
- Design and manufacturing drawings (Line diagrams, Plant and Pipe work Layouts, Pipe work Isometrics, Material takeoffs, Foundation drawings, Equipment drawings, Fabrication drawings).
- Assisting in all aspects of the mechanical design within the allocated budget and timescales in accordance with contractual requirements and in line with current company designs
- To correctly interpret information contained in the contract and develop detailed designs to satisfy technical and commercial requirements
- To prepare purchase requisition instructions.
- To undertake site surveys and to work on site as required.


CERINTE

Your Qualifications:
• Technician diploma or engineering degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Food-Technology or similar
• Good knowledge of Process-Plant Layout and piping design for Processes in the Hygienic Industries
• Experience with CAD software (3D)
• Ability to take basic design data and develop into production-type drawings suitable for manufacture and/or site installation.
• Good English
• Flexibility and enthusiasm
• Attention to detail
