Automation Engineer -
Junior/Senior/Supervisor/Manager
Your role will be to provide Automation Engineering on dairy, brewery and food project as part of a team consisting of Mechanical Design Engineers, Process Design Engineers, Project Managers & Sales Staff.
- You will be involved in all phases from design, through installation to commissioning for major capital projects, of up to 18 months duration.
- The position will include sales support, office based design, and will extend from time-to-time to consultancy, site service visits and commissioning periods on customers sites (travel and site work: 20–40%)
Your tasks include:
- Assisting in all aspects of the automation design including System Architecture, Equipment Specifications and Automation / Functional specifications, Software Configuration and Systems Testing
- Correctly interpreting information contained in the contract to develop detailed designs to satisfy technical and commercial requirements
- Preparing purchase requisition instructions
- Conducting site surveys
- Executing or supporting site commissioning / trouble-shooting activities.
- Assisting development design work
- Carrying out systems application work
Your Qualifications:
- Degree in Electronics, Computing, Electrical or equivalent
- Knowledge of Software/ Hardware development tools for Programmable Logic Control (PLC) / SCADA
- Experienced in estimating procedures and methods
- 4 years relevant industrial experience
- Good English
- Innovation, responsibility, drive and initiative
- Flexibility and good communication skills
