Your ResponsibilitiesAs the QA/QC manager you will ensure the company’s contractors provide services, site and plant completions equipment that meet the company and industry quality standards in order to minimize project costs and delays due to quality related problems. Coordination and participation in all QA/QC field / workshop activities fulfil the role as Field QA/QC Engineering resource within the company. Drive Operational excellence via QA/QC activities.
QA/QC management of construction projects in the oil and gas industry, gas treatment, gas – pipelines and plant construction.

Follow up with contractors to ensure preventative measures are put in place to continually improve.
Acting as the project authority on Quality related matters.
Hands on approach with frequent visits to vendor locations
Focus on QA/QC improvements for the most problematic tool/equipment types.
Coordinate inspection surveillance activities associated with drilling and completion tools.
Oversight third party inspectors
Be an active participant on Root Cause Analysis team (RCA) by
Providing inspection reports on failed tools inspected at tool supplier shops.
Participating in shop evaluations of returned failed tools where and when appropriate.
Facilitating interaction between RCA and the vendors QA/QC Departments
Providing input into Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA’s).
Ensure PDO HSE programs, procedures and guidelines are incorporated into inspection/surveillance process and monitor supplier and inspector HSE performance.
Set a clear HSE expectation and promote a high degree of health, safety and environmental awareness by participating in HSE meeting.
Provide field based Mentoring, Coaching & training to junior QA/QC engineers / inspectors, and assist in perform evaluation of their development.

Your ProfileBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline
Seven years of oil and gas project experience and experience in handling of equipment for QA/QC
Familiarity with project procedures, project requirements and industry inspection standards and specifications including common destructive testing methods in the delivery workshops
Previous experience writing/approving quality plans and inspection and test plans for manufacturing and service locations of oilfield contractors/vendors
Good communication skill
Team building and leadership skill
English and German skills MANDATORY
