Saguaro Technology is actively looking for an external contractor for a web application development.
Job description:
• Main responsibility will be to develop the back end of a web application using Java technologies
• You will work together with a front end developer to create a medium scale web application, using Hibernate with Play framework, to connect to a MySQL database in order to retrieve the data
• This data will be used in the businesses layer and will be exposed to the user through several web services (REST) to a responsive web user interface
At least 3 years of relevant work experience in web application development with an emphasis on Java frameworks: Play, Hibernate;
• Experience Node.js is a must (especially HTML server side rendering, templates)
• Use of agile methodologies, test-driven development and continuous integration;
• Technical analysis: UML, Design patterns, Object oriented analysis and design;
• Development environment: Redmine/Github(Gitlab)/Manthis, Eclipse (InteliJ), Subversion(Git is a plus), Maven, JUnit, Jboss, Jenkins;
• Database: MySQL, (NoSQL like MongoDB, Cassandra is a plus), Database design is a plus;
• Previous experience with Amazon EC2, Elastic Load Balancing is a plus
