- Agrees packaging type and design with the customers/suppliers and the organizational units in Sales, Production Planning and Production responsible (if necessary using Pack-Assistant)
- Draws up flow charts (packaging plans) from the specifications of the production workflow and the production structure in agreement with Production Planning
- Enters and clears packaging plan data in the SAP database
- Creates packaging regulations in the system and keeping them up-to-date
- Determines prices for packaging material and forwarding the information accordingly to Sales and Project Management
- Carries out sample orders for new project developed together with Purchasing
- Prepares data sheets for components (raw materials and finish goods)
- Plans and draws up new packing aids if the customer's requirements change
- Participates in customer meetings and provides support with these if necessary
- Monitors packaging data sheets from customer portals and uploads them into SAP System
- Maintains monthly KPI reports up-to-date
- Corrects system errors and controls returnable packaging cycles using returnable packaging accounts
- University Degree
- Previous experience in Packaging (Packaging Engineer woukd be preferred)
- SAP knowledge
- English and/or German knowledge
