Mechanical Design Manager Timisoara , West Romania

YOUR TASKS // You will be working within Hella Romania Aftermarket division, having a strategic role in the Design & Development team. You will coordinate the Mechanical Design team and ensure the management of product development including required functions. You will ensure  technological and technical process know-how transfer as well as quality, cost and deadline targets within own area of responsibility. You will be in charge with optimization of existing development processing, checking and,  where applicable, implementation of new development methods. You will provide technical and personnel resources for development projects in consideration of qualifications required and capacities present to ensure smooth project completion. You will ensure transfer of experience and know how going beyond specific project for continuous improvement of development level in area of responsibility. You will ensure the quality, deadline and cost targets agreed on are met within own area of responsibility, to ensure smooth completion of development and targets. You will be located in Timisoara, though you will be in permanent contact with the production plant from Lugoj.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS // Your profile is as varied as your new duties. You will have completed studies in mechanical / electrical engineer or a similar qualification. You have 5-10 years of experience in leading Mechanical Design Team. You have worked with plastic part, PCB or Metal parts design. You are familiar with the Time to Market processes. You have strong skills in efficient time and deadline management and ability to work in a team environment. You are able to mentor your team and to measure the performance. CATIA V5 is an advantage. You have a good command of English. You also have a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office.
