Job purpose
As member of the Product Development Team in our hub in Timisoara, the right incumbent will be responsible for developing and delivering the cooling mechanism part of the ICM with emphasis on innovation, quality, high performance & cost efficiency as well as in accordance with safety and environmental legislations.
Key accountabilities
Design in Pro-E, test, modify and validate the cooling mechanism within the framework of Product Development Projects.
Ensure that the customer’s requirements are correctly perceived and properly reflected on the designs.
Follow up the design work, plan and follow closely the engineering prototype preparation in alignment with Development Brief Requirements (DBR); ensure that the feedback from prototypes is appropriately analyzed and incorporated in the Technical Files.
Ensure that the prototypes are as close as possible to the final product, and communicate explicitly the areas that are not; cooperate with all stakeholders aiming a high quality product by analyzing the feedback, the observations and the results of all the test tasks.
Coordinate the activities for the full compliance of the product, as far as performance and safety is concerned, in collaboration with the Electrical Engineer.
Ensure that projects are processed according to the procedures and priorities; monitor and manage the budget execution, according to the projects’ needs.
Required qualifications and experience
Technical Institute degree or Bachelor in Cooling or Mechanical Engineering (MS will be assessed positively)
Strong CAD tool software knowledge (Pro-E software knowledge is desirable)
Good knowledge on Thermodynamics, Cooling/Refrigerants, Heat Transfer, Fluid Dynamics
3+ years of relevant experience in an industrial environment (experience on multinational company will be considered positively)
Professional experience on manufacturing and/or design of industrial products (preferably household appliances)
Proficient user of the English language and IT literate
