Our client, a multinational real estate company with more than 100 offices worldwide, requires a Senior Accountant to join their team. You will be the sole responsible for providing a high level of accounting and support for the internalization of the accounting department.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monthly verification of AP, AR and IC journal entries done by OA
- Calculating and filling in the monthly VAT Return
- Monthly verification of Petty Cash register based on Petty Cash books prepared by OA
- Monthly AR and AP bank reconciliations
- Monthly maintenance of depreciation of the tangible and intangible fixed assets
- Monthly maintenance of Prepaid schedules
- Monthly consolidation of Real Estate and IFPM information from EA in one Financial Statement (TB, BS, PNL)
- Monthly statutory Trial Balance
- Monthly Balance Sheet and P&L preparation for Romania
- Monthly IT and Telecom ledger and Capex spending for the month
- Filling in the quarterly and annually Tax Return
- Filling in the half-year and annual statutory Financial Statements
- Keep the Finance and Accounting team update with latest legislation changes and the way they affect the office activity
- Participate in setting up the computerized accounting system for statutory and US GAAP reporting purposes
Suitable candidates should possess all or most of the following experience and personal characteristics:
- Very well organized person that works efficient alone as well as within a team
- Detail oriented with very good analytical skills
- Time management skills and able to prioritize
- Very good English knowledge (verbal and written)
- Statutory accounting proven min 3 years experience
- Computerized accounting experience
- Computerized accounting experience
- Easily adaptable to change
- US GAAP knowledge is a plus but not a must
