The job holder is responsible for:
- Supervising and reviewing Engineering Contractors documentation during the execution of design (starting from FEED), procurement and, in a later stage, construction activities, ensuring the quality of the works according to the contract requirements.
- Provide technical expertise and support Manager requirement relevant to possible queries coming from the different EP/EPC Contractors.
- Ensure a smooth and effective transfer of data and information between Contractors (in the event of Contractor change from Phase to Phase) and from the Contractor to the company.
- Lead the identification, creation, and/or adoption of appropriate electrical engineering standards, with appropriate consideration of local standards and norms.
- Identify and assess the technology (eventually new) and systems to allow improvements and facilitate design and operability of large-scale field development projects.
- Advise on electrical equipment standardization and availability
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Fluent English.
- Minimum of five years discipline experience, preferably in onshore oil and gas project front end engineering, detailed design, delivery and operation. Include all aspects of electrical engineering (hazardous area identification, earthing calculations, short circuit calculations and stability, transient start up, electric power generation/transmission systems etc.).
-Experience in design and operation of high H2S content facilities with stringent requirements in terms of HSE.
- A previous similar company role, especially in managing and interfacing with major Contractor will be recommended.
