Job description:
- Supervising and managing a purchasing team
- Ensure the right metrics are set to fulfill the contractual obligation against the client
- Define appropriate processes and review them regularly
- Agree business targets with the supervised people and make sure the targets agreed are met
- Develop and establish appropriate own business plans as well as business plans with the subordinates to fulfill targets
- Ensure team performance
- Maintain proper relationship with stakeholders and suppliers
- Handle negotiations
Requirements:
- English and German minimum level B2
- Strong negotiation skills;
- Problem solving oriented
- Capability to manage projects and allocate resources effectively
- Prioritize conflicts and tasks
- Defines SMART objectives for the projects and teams
- Acts proactively in supporting people
- Delegates tasks with clear objectives
- Adapts personal style and behavior to the client/supplier needs in order to achieve “win-win” situations for all parties
- Encourage people to express their views and ideas
