Job Purpose
The Food Packer forms part of the production plant of Food Pro (Malta). The objective of the position is to assist in the preparation and packaging of various frozen and fresh food products. The Food Packer will report directly to Supervisor 2. The position calls for a highly energetic individual with a strong sense of commitment, assisting the production team in meeting deadlines and producing high quality products.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Able to sustain a working environment of 10 - 12 degrees Celsius at all working time
Occasionally need to work in a -18 degrees Celsius
Stack and Store finished products
Pack, weigh and label finished products
Constant use of slicing machine
Constant use of Bandsaw
Constant use of packaging machines
Clean containers, materials and supplies
Cleaning of electrical and non-electrical equipment after production is completed
Cleaning of floors
General duties of production
Continuous lifting of heavy crates
Documentation that task has been completed through ISL
Adhering to HACCP procedures
Ensures that maximum level of quality is maintained
Ensures that what is being packed/produced is in line with SOPs / Spec Sheets
Informs immediate superior when production / final product is not in line with SOPs / Spec Sheets
Ensures all cleaning and sanitizing procedures are performed to the required HACCP standards
Strict observance to company confidentiality and professionalism
Attends training programs as instructed by the company, during or outside office hours

Job Specification
General good standard of education up to Secondary Level ideally with ‘O’ Level passes in Mathematics,
English Language,
Knowledge and experience in the Food Industry business is considered to be an asset
Ideally, should also possess a Food Handling B certification
Ability to maintain a healthy relationship with colleagues and to work under constant pressure
Self-motivated, well-organized, good communication and inter-personal skills
Able to work on own initiative and meet deadlines
Applying a positive attitude of ‘can do’, ‘right the first time’, ‘speed’ and ‘passion’

Job Purpose
The Delivery person forms part of the Distribution and Warehousing Department of our client (VBIE). VBIE believes that the role of a delivery person is important to its business strategy especially when it comes to customer retention. The delivery person has a constant contact with internal customers through deliveries at Miracle Foods Retail Shops. Additionally, the delivery person supplies also VBIE esteemed clientele and thus his/her demeanor portrays the image of the company.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Drives trucks/vans in an orderly manner to deliver items such as food supplies
Loads/Unloads, prepare and inspect trucks/vans in a systematic and organized fashion before and after starting the route plan
Collects payments upon delivery from external customers or get the invoice signed according to the client’s account status – if the account status on Invoice is changed to ‘Credit’, signatures have to be on all copies and rubber stamped accordingly
Listens and attempts to resolve internal and/or external customers’ complaints or queries regarding products or services
Follows attentively any written and/or verbal instructions from his/her direct superior
Verifies the contents of inventory loads against the provided invoices
Be able to read and follow a geographical map book
Plan, organize and follow in an systematic manner the route plan
Have a strong sense of time management in order to complete all scheduled deliveries by the end of business day
Ensures safety procedures are adhered to by maintaining cleanliness
Strict adherence to company confidentiality and professionalism

Gross basic salary per month for 40 hours worked = €778
Gross fixed allowance per month for 40 hours worked = €65
+ Overtime @1.5/ @2 (this is a variable amount and rate based on the gross hourly basic salary 500-700 euro/manth)
+ Governmental bonuses of €256.13 per year (divided by four and paid every 3 months)
Income tax = 15%
National insurance = 10% of the gross basic salary
