Role: responsible for planning, acquisition, processing, and interpretation of seismic data. Process and reports on 2D/3D seismic data and VSP data in order to achieve targeted objectives for oil and gas exploration.
Main responsibilities:
1. Organize the activities of geophysical and seismic survey programs preparation and following the performance;
2. Participate in the process of 2D/3D seismic processing in line with the requirements of the technical assignment. Also supervise the activities during the seismic data processing and designing 2D and 3D reflection seismic surveys;
3. Participate in all activity of planning new 2D/3D surveys: programs development for pilot seismic surveys, define project solutions for seismic data processing and prepare project solutions for main 2D and 3D seismic survey process: interpretation of seismic data, numerical processing and interpretation;
4. Prepare all seismic and well data (geographical coordinates, drilling datum, directional survey, time depth tables, check shots and VSP data, formation and fault picks, logs, RFT, perforations, completions, production tests, core description and core photos etc.);
5. Create velocity models based on available seismic and well data;
6. Participates in the development of test seismic surveys and data processing;
7. Supervise all activities during the seismic data processing and designing of 2D and 3D reflection seismic surveys;
8. Analyzes and interprets 3D exploration seismic and related data and prepares maps, reports and presentation;
9. Perform quality control, monitoring, and interpretation of geophysical data.
Requirements:
Knowledge
- Bachelor Degree in Geology / Geophysics or a similar science related subject;
- Minimum 5 years of previous experience in Seismic Data acquisition processing and interpretation;
- Very good understanding of all field and office activities during Seismic Acquisition process (from Start –
Up and first Tests to Final Report);
- Very good English knowledge
