Our Client is a leading operator in the Building and Engineering Services Industry, specialising in mechanical and electrical contracting, HVAC solutions, lifts and escalators, industrial products, building management systems and facilities management. Due to further expansion the above-mentioned career opportunity has now arisen.
Reporting directly to the project manager or any other senior as directed
The ideal candidate will be expected to carry out the following duties:
• Support in estimates of materials and labour at quotation stages;
• Assist in the preparation of drawings and schematics and designs;
• Carry out the necessary trouble shooting and repairs in timely and cost-effective manner;
• Carry out the necessary planned preventive maintenance;
• Provide client and senior with professional feedback;
• Carry out necessary updating, upgrading and/or any programing of ELV systems;
• Prepare material requirements for specific jobs;
• Prepare proper works planning;
• Train and develop any colleagues and/or subordinates as guided by seniors;
• Prepare the necessary works reports;
• Liaise and work within a team, taking the initiative to lead subordinates;
• Keep abreast of existing suppliers and possible new suppliers.
The selected candidate should be in possession of;
• MQF/EQF level 5 in ELV/Electronics maintenance, repairs and installations or equivalent;
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar post;
• High attention to detail;
• Professional knowledge of computer applications;
• Strategic mind set;
• Valid driving license;
• Clean police conduct.
The selected candidate must be available to work on emergency call out duties as required.

Basic salary range: €20,000 - €25,000 gross annually
