On behalf of one of our client, a well-known Interior Design company in Qatar, we are looking to place a FF & E Design Manager for their offices in Doha.
The job would entitle the following:
Responsibilities:
• Prepare residential schemes, from mood boards to presentation;
Liaise with clients and suppliers, who can coordinate design, prepare documentation to managing completion of site.
• Has knowledge of procurement and specifications and be able to source materials quickly, within project’s timeframe and budget.
• Coordinate with Design Director and Senior/Project Designer following initial client briefing it interpret Design Brief and establish Mood boards.
• Working alongside the Design Director to develop FF&E Programming schedules.
• Production of full FF&E presentation boards and finishes for client presentations.
• To maintain the Library in the approved Format established
• To continually upgrade the library with new up to date information and update schedules of suppliers and manufacturers and maintain this database.
• To prepare sample boards in conjunction with the design team.
• Assist the design Director / Project Designer in preparation of the initial presentations and subsequent design development presentation.
• Assist the Technical Office in choosing the appropriate FF&E items from the library in consultation with the interior design team.
• Creating full preliminary line item budgets and finishes schedules for all areas of submission to the client.
• Production and maintenance of FF&E specification control books for all areas of the project within the scope of work.
• Prepare and coordinate all FF&E documentation required for the Tender and Construction issues

Authorities:
Authorize to manage the entire material library and implement procedures to continually upgrade it. Coordinate with the Design Director to interpret design brief.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
Years of experience: 10 years plus
Area of experience: FF & E Design
Skills needed:
1. Have excellent knowledge about procurement and specifications.
2. Able to manage material library effectively
3. A team-player
4. Able to work and submit outputs in time.
