Adecco Permanent Placement is looking for our client a HSE Manager in Ploiesti.
Our client is a company founded in 2007 as the daughter of the German company in MÜNCHEN GmbH.
Main activity: design and assembling works for new constructions, repairs, services and maintenance for piping and equipment from refinery and installations among the difficult ones for the chemical and petrochemical industry.
Job profile:
-Draws up, updates and distributes documents on HSE system;
-Reports his tasks to the Company management;
-Approves documents for the planning of inspections at the workplace;
-Proposes measures for improving the HSE system;
-Cooperates in analyzing accidents;
-Advises project and assembly managers on HSE measures;
-Records HSE issues in the minutes of meeting;
-Assesses/evaluates the working conditions;
-Requires, proposes or considers solving problems taking into account his field of competence and checks whether problems have been solved;
-Establishes and carries out HSE inspections at the workplace;
-Proposes or provides corrective actions and prevention measures from the HSE system;
-Monitors the use of resources and productive facilities which have safety deviations until the latter or their poor condition have been removed;
-Investigates the causes of accidents;
-Evaluates suppliers according to HSE criteria;
-Advises both the employer and other persons in charge of occupational safety and prevention of accidents upon:
- planning, implementation and maintenance of both productive and social facilities and the sanitary ones;
- supply of technical work devices and implementation of work processes and working materials;
- selection and testing of body protection means;
- creating workplaces, ongoing processes of work, working environment and other issues of ergonomics;
-Elaborates the environmental management programs;
-Draws up the „Plan for monitoring environmental factors";
-Tracks implementation of measures specified in the „Plan for monitoring environmental factors";
-Participates to scheduled and unscheduled check-up and auditing in order to assess conformity;
-Identifies environmental impacts associated with all environmental determined aspects for the following three circumstances: normal working conditions, abnormal planning conditions and emergency;
-Sets out methods for assessing environmental impacts;
-Draws up the „List of significant environmental aspects";
-Knows and complies with documentation, policy and procedures of the environmental management system, knows the significant environmental issues and requirements of the company;
-Has knowledge of and applies the company`s quality policy and objectives, also the SMC documents applicable in his field of activity;
-Ensure the development of a positive safety culture through ongoing training, inductions and toolbox sessions with our people;
-Coach, lead and develop the team to achieve business objectives.
-Qualification in Occupational Health and Safety, Injury Management or equivalent;
-Knowledge of risk management, control processes & relevant legislation, including state specific legislation & associated standards;
-Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline driven environment;
-Proven success in team leadership;
-Ability to build effective relationships with key business stakeholders;
-Excellent command in MS Office;
-Technical University – Mechanical engineering – Advantage;
-Excellent command of English, in both speaking and writing – mandatory condition;
-German knowledge – advantage;
-Highly developed analytical and organizational skills, structured and disciplined person.
